Yes, in most cases. Many smart thermostats work without a C-wire, and where one is needed, an Auxe technician can usually install a C-wire adapter or power accessory during your appointment. Upload a photo of your current thermostat with the faceplate off when booking, and we'll confirm compatibility before we arrive.
Most devices Auxe installs - Google Nest, Ecobee, Ring, and Yale - work with Google Home and Amazon Alexa, and many support Apple HomeKit as well. Tell us which ecosystem you use when booking, and we'll recommend compatible products and connect everything to your existing setup during installation.
Yes. Many smart devices are renter-friendly: battery-powered video doorbells, smart locks that replace only the interior deadbolt hardware, plug-in cameras, and smart speakers all install without permanent changes. An Auxe technician can also remove devices and restore the original hardware when you move out.
